Religious School class

We meet on Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings.

Thursdays are for Grades 3-7 and are focused on Hebrew.

Sundays are for Grades K-7 and include worship, Jewish Studies, and Hebrew.

Grades 6-7 students and parents have a monthly pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah program with the Rabbi called Minyanaires.

Also, once monthly, we have a teen education program called Teen Torah Study with the Rabbi.



A pre-school program, operated by the Jewish Community Center Nursery School of State College, Inc. meets in the synagogue Mondays through Fridays.

Adult Education

Join us at 12:00 Noon for a salad bar lunch, fellowship, and Torah study.
Here is the Fall schedule:
September 19th and 26th.
November 14th and 21st.
December 5th, 12th, and 19th.

In September, we’ll look deeply into the themes and texts of the High Holy Days.

In November and December, we’ll look at texts addressing the issues of Tribalism and/or Universalism from a Jewish perspective.

The Rabbi also teaches tutorials for Gerut (conversion to Judaism). Please contact Rabbi Ostrich if you are interested.
