2019 High Holiday Security Policy

The Board of Congregation Brit Shalom has instituted two policies to address security concerns for High Holiday services. First, there will be armed security personnel present at the front door for all services. Second, standing with the security personnel will be a Board Member, who will check the tickets of all individuals who enter the building. Everyone must have tickets to enter.

 Access to High Holiday Tickets

1. Members automatically receive one complimentary ticket to High Holiday services for each individual that the membership covers

2. Members may receive one ticket for each non-local guest
i. There is no charge
ii. Congregation Brit Shalom requests that members consider making a contribution for each guest

3. Nonmembers who reside within Centre County may purchase an individual ticket to High Holiday services for $218 ($200 plus chai)

4. Non-members who reside outside Centre County and provide proof of current membership in a recognized Jewish congregation may receive High Holiday tickets as if they are members of Congregation Brit Shalom

5. Nonmembers who reside outside Centre County and are not members in good standing in a recognized Jewish congregation may purchase an individual ticket to High Holiday services for $218 ($200 plus chai)
